Zelensky demands justice for imprisoned Saakashvili, accuses Russia and Georgia

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is demanding that former Georgian president Mikheil Saakashvili, who is currently in jail, be sent to Ukraine for urgent medical care. Zelensky accused Moscow, via the government of Georgia, of "killing" Saakashvili after a video emerged of him looking emaciated. Saakashvili, who denies abuse of office charges, claims to be "dying" and suffering from heavy metal poisoning. It is unclear why Zelensky is escalating his accusations now. Georgia has stated that Saakashvili is receiving medical care and is not a political prisoner.
