Iran Identifies Alleged Mastermind of ISIS Twin Suicide Attacks, Arrests Dozens

Iran has identified the alleged mastermind behind the dual suicide bombing attacks at a memorial for Gen. Qassem Soleimani, naming a Tajik national known as Abdollah Tajiki. One bomber had Tajik and Israeli nationality and was trained by ISIS in Afghanistan, while the second bomber remains unidentified. The death toll from the attack is 94, and ISIS has claimed responsibility for the blasts. Soleimani, head of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Quds Forces, was killed in a U.S. strike in Baghdad in 2020.
