Orcas Toss Yacht with Ease in Aggressive Display.

A pod of orcas attacked a yacht in the Strait of Gibraltar, stripping it of its rudders. The incident is one of 20 seemingly calculated orca attacks on human vessels in the past month alone. While the orcas could have easily broken the boat, the sailors believe the whales were playing with the rudder. Scientists believe the behavior originated with a traumatized female orca nicknamed White Gladis, and other adult orcas are teaching it to their pods. It remains unclear if the behavior will become more aggressive or spread further.
