Tech CEO Leading Return-to-Office Resistance by Example, Regardless of Staff Location

Jeff Maggioncalda, CEO of Coursera, has become a remote work advocate after initially being skeptical. He now leads by example, working remotely and allowing his employees to work from anywhere they like. Maggioncalda believes that remote work has improved staff satisfaction and expanded the company's talent pool. While some CEOs are pushing for a return to the office, Maggioncalda and other remote work advocates, such as Matt Mullenweg of Automattic, argue that productivity and effectiveness are not necessarily tied to the physical location of work.
