Archaeologists excavated the site as part of planned renovations on the Palazzo della Rovere. The findings, including 10th-century glass goblets and pottery, provide a rare glimpse into Roman history from the Roman Empire to the 15th century. The artifacts will be moved to a museum, while the theater ruins will be covered after further studies.
