Egypt's Saqqara Necropolis Reveals Ancient Tombs and Mummification Workshops

Archaeologists in Egypt have discovered two human and animal embalming workshops as well as the tombs of two priests at the Saqqara necropolis south of Cairo. The discoveries include beds, mummification tools, materials, statues, antiquities, and pieces dating back 3,300 years. The findings are part of Egypt's attempts to revive its vital tourism industry, with a goal of drawing in 30 million tourists a year by 2028.
