"Tropical Storm Franklin Emerges in the Atlantic"

Tropical Storm Franklin has formed in the Atlantic with winds of 50mph. It is forecasted to impact Haiti, Dominican Republic, and Puerto Rico with heavy rain, flooding, and mudslides. The storm is expected to maintain strength and bring heavy rain to the southern Dominican Republic and Haiti, with 2-6 inches of rain also expected in parts of Puerto Rico. Another tropical wave near Florida could develop into a tropical system as it moves into the Gulf of Mexico, potentially affecting parts of South Texas.
