"Hurricane Lee Strengthens, East Coast Braces for Hazardous Beach Conditions"

Hurricane Lee has regained Category 3 strength and is expected to strengthen further in the Atlantic, while the National Hurricane Center monitors Tropical Storm Margot and two other systems with potential for development. Lee is forecasted to pass north of the northern Leeward Islands, Virgin Islands, and Puerto Rico, but Bermuda is within the cone of uncertainty. Lee's waves are expected to cause dangerous surf and rip current conditions along the U.S. East Coast. Margot is moving north over the central subtropical Atlantic and is likely to become a hurricane. The NHC is also tracking two other systems with a chance of development.
