NASA and House Address Challenges of UFO Stigma and Debt Ceiling Bill

A NASA panel studying reports of "unidentified aerial phenomena" has said that the stigma associated with reporting UFO sightings and the harassment of people who investigate them may be hindering efforts to determine their origins. The panel presented early findings in its first public meeting and is expected to publish a final report this summer. The team highlighted the need for more high-quality data to properly investigate unusual sightings. The definition of UAPs, as they are referred to in government parlance, was recently expanded to include mysterious undersea encounters and strange sightings in the outermost parts of the planet's atmosphere.
