NASA's OSIRIS-REx Mission Successfully Returns Asteroid Sample to Earth

NASA's OSIRIS-REx spacecraft is set to make its dramatic landing in the Utah desert, carrying a capsule containing material gathered from asteroid Bennu. Mission managers are confident that the landing will go as planned, based on the successful trajectory and performance of the spacecraft so far. If the capsule lands safely, it will be transported to a clean room at Dugway Proving Ground, then flown to NASA's Johnson Space Center for analysis. The mission aims to provide valuable scientific data about carbon-rich asteroids and the early solar system.
