Pro-Palestine Protests Disrupt California Democratic Convention

Pro-Palestine demonstrators interrupted the California Democratic Convention in Sacramento, calling for a cease-fire in Gaza and leading to the cancellation of evening events. Some protesters made it inside the convention center, causing a lockdown with about 200 people inside. Demonstrators also held a sit-in in the lobby, while protests continued outside with activists setting up 500 pairs of shoes to represent children killed in the conflict.
