Ukraine Secures F-16 Fighter Jets from Denmark and Netherlands

The Netherlands and Denmark have pledged to provide Ukraine with a total of 61 F-16 fighter jets, a move hailed as "powerful" and "historic" by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. The aircraft will be delivered in close cooperation with the U.S. and other partners, subject to successful testing and training. Meanwhile, rescue operations have ended following a deadly terrorist attack in Chernihiv, with seven dead and 156 injured. The E.U. foreign policy chief and U.S. Secretary of State have condemned the attack. In other battleground updates, civilians were injured in attacks in Donetsk and Kupyansk, while Russian attacks in the Kherson region resulted in casualties. Ukraine's government and military have shown little hesitation in deploying cluster munitions provided by the U.S., despite opposition from human rights groups and some NATO allies.
