Rosalynn Carter Joins Husband in Hospice Care

Former first lady Rosalynn Carter, wife of ex-president Jimmy Carter, has entered hospice care at home, joining her husband in end-of-life care at their Georgia residence. Rosalynn Carter was diagnosed with dementia in May. Jimmy Carter, who is 99 years old, entered home hospice care in February after declining further medical intervention. The Carter family has asked for privacy and expressed gratitude for the outpouring of support. Rosalynn Carter is renowned for her mental health advocacy and founded the Rosalynn Carter Institute for Caregivers.
