Rosalynn Carter, Former US First Lady, Enters Hospice Care at Home at 96

Former US first lady Rosalynn Carter, aged 96, has entered hospice care at home, according to a statement from the Carter Center. Rosalynn Carter, who has been living with dementia since May 2023, is spending time with her husband, former President Jimmy Carter, and their family. The Carters, the longest-married presidential couple, got married in 1946. Jimmy Carter, aged 99, is also in hospice care after deciding not to pursue further medical intervention.
