"Ram's Hybrid Ramcharger: A Powerful Blend of Electric and Gas Power"

Stellantis' new Ram 1500 Ramcharger pickup, set to be released late next year, will be a hybrid truck with a gasoline engine acting as a generator to charge the batteries and power the electric motors that drive the wheels. With a range of up to 145 miles on electric power alone and a total range of about 690 miles, the Ramcharger aims to address range anxiety concerns. It can also utilize fast chargers for quick battery recharging. The Ramcharger will be sold alongside the fully-electric Ram REV, providing an option for customers who are still worried about range anxiety.
