"Stunning Fireball Illuminates Night Skies Across Multiple U.S. States"

A massive fireball was spotted in the night sky across nearly a dozen states and Canada, with reports coming in of a glowing object quickly traversing the sky. The American Meteor Society believes it to be a fireball and has triangulated its possible path over Pennsylvania. NASA estimates that 48.5 tons of space matter strikes Earth daily, with less than 5% of meteors surviving to strike the ground. While there have been no reports of Wednesday's space matter striking the ground, if it did, southwestern areas of the Northeast appeared to be in its trajectory.
