AMD Radeon RX 7000 GPUs gain traction in Steam survey, Nvidia faces challenges

The latest Steam survey reveals that AMD made gains in both CPUs and GPUs, with the first Radeon RX 7000-series card entering the chart. The RTX 3060 continues to climb in popularity, while the RTX 3070 sits at the top. Surprisingly, the RTX 4060 Ti, despite receiving a low score in reviews, was the third best performer. AMD's processors also saw a rise in market share. In terms of operating systems, Windows 11 is gaining traction while Windows 10 declines. Other notable findings include 8GB VRAM being the most popular, Full HD as the most common resolution, and the Oculus Quest 2 remaining popular among VR headset owners.
