Ford has added a $295 or $495 charge to several exterior paint options for the 2024 Mustang, making only four colors free of charge. The change took effect on April 8, with some colors now costing extra, including Atlas Blue Metallic, Race Red, Grabber Blue Metallic, and Vapor Blue Metallic. The move places Ford among automakers offering fewer standard color options, with many only offering achromatic choices. Ford also offers a matte finish option, but it comes with a hefty $5,995 price tag.
