Geologists have confirmed the existence of Zealandia, the eighth continent, which had remained hidden for nearly 375 years. Zealandia, mostly underwater with only 6% above sea level, spans approximately 4.9 million square kilometers. Tourists may already be visiting Zealandia without realizing it, with popular destinations including Milford Sound, Waitomo Caves, Wānaka, Ōhope, Lord Howe Island, Ball Pyramid, Nepean Island, and Waimangu.
