"Gateway's Lunar I-Hab Reaches New Milestone"

ESA and NASA astronauts, in collaboration with Thales Alenia Space, have conducted critical Human-in-the-Loop (HITL) tests on the Lunar I-Hab module in Turin, Italy. These tests, involving full-scale mock-ups, aim to assess and improve the ergonomics and habitability of the module, which is part of the Gateway and the Artemis programme. Feedback from experienced astronauts will guide design improvements, ensuring the module supports life and operations effectively. This milestone marks significant progress in the European contribution to lunar exploration.
