California's Blossoming Beauty Captured from Space by ESA

The Copernicus Sentinel-2 mission captured an image of Southern California, showing Los Angeles, San Bernardino, water bodies, national forests, and the Mojave Desert. The image also displays the recent superbloom event triggered by record-breaking winter precipitation, with vibrant orange and yellow colours of poppies and wildflowers in bloom visible throughout the area, including Antelope Valley and Walker Canyon.
