"Urgent Severe Weather Alert in Effect"

Severe weather alerts are in effect this morning with rain and storms gradually weakening throughout the day. The strongest storms will move east, posing a threat to areas east of I-65. Temperatures will drop significantly with a cold front, reaching around 50 degrees by Wednesday morning and barely reaching 60 degrees on Wednesday. Cooler weather will persist through the Thanksgiving weekend, with highs in the 58-60 degree range and mid-40s in the mornings. Scattered cold showers may occur on Thanksgiving and Black Friday, but they are not expected to be heavy.
