Unsettled Weather Ahead for Colorado's Front Range and Denver Metro Area

A cold front moving across northern Colorado is expected to bring cooler temperatures, showers, and thunderstorms to the Front Range and Denver metro area. A First Alert Weather Day has been issued due to the potential for heavy rain during the afternoon. The storms may produce heavy pockets of rain between 5pm and 11pm, with rainfall intensity decreasing overnight. Cooler temperatures and a few afternoon showers are expected on Friday, while the weekend is forecasted to be dry and warmer.
