Spring weather rollercoaster: Major storm followed by Easter warmth

A major winter storm is expected to hit KELOLAND, bringing heavy snow, blowing and drifting snow, and strong winds. Western, central, and northeastern KELOLAND will be impacted, with numerous blizzard warnings and winter storm watches posted. The Sioux Falls area will miss the heaviest snow, but may see a period of thunderstorms. Travel will become impossible where the heaviest snow falls. However, warmer temperatures in the 60s and 70s are expected by the end of the week.
