A tornado watch and severe thunderstorm warning are in effect for multiple counties in north Alabama until early Monday morning. The main threats are damaging wind gusts, potentially large hail, frequent lightning, and heavy rainfall. More rain chances will continue through at least mid-week, which could create flash flooding issues for areas that see repeated heavy rainfall. Temperatures will stay on the cooler side in the low to mid-80s.
