Michigan's Winter Outlook: Dry and Warm or Just a Myth?

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) has released its winter outlook for the United States, predicting warmer-than-average temperatures and drier-than-average conditions across the north, including Michigan. With El Niño in place for the first time in four years, the NOAA forecasts a 40%-50% probability of above-normal temperatures and a 40%-50% probability of below-average precipitation for Michigan during the winter season.
