"Michigan Braces for Additional Inches of Snowfall in Select Regions"

Michigan is expected to receive several more inches of snow in some areas, with the hardest hit regions being the Western edge of the state and the Northern Lower Peninsula. Western Michigan can expect another inch or so of snow, while the Northern Lower Peninsula could see 3-4 more inches, with local amounts pushing six additional inches through Monday evening. In the Upper Peninsula, areas like Munising, Newberry, and Grand Marais could see an additional 6-8 inches. Snow showers will be widespread throughout the day and night in Metro Detroit, tapering off overnight, with temperatures dropping into the low 20s and wind chills in the single digits by Tuesday morning.
