Ohio's Recreational Marijuana Legalization Campaign Fails to Gain Traction

A campaign to legalize recreational marijuana in Ohio has fallen just short of the required number of signatures needed to place the issue on the November ballot. The Coalition to Regulate Marijuana Like Alcohol was 679 signatures short of the 124,046 required. However, they have 10 days to gather more signatures and are confident they can meet the deadline. If successful, Ohio would become the 24th state to legalize cannabis for adult use.
