Law firm leader purchases property owned by Gorsuch.

Supreme Court Justice Neil Gorsuch sold a 20% stake in a Colorado property to the CEO of Greenberg Traurig, a law firm with a robust practice before the high court, for $1.825 million in 2017. Gorsuch did not disclose the identity of the purchaser, and since then, Greenberg Traurig has been involved in at least 22 cases before or presented to the court. Gorsuch's dealings with the law firm expose the weakness of the court's disclosure procedures, and Senate Judiciary Chair Dick Durbin has called for Supreme Court ethics reform.
