Multiple Tornadoes Cause Damage in Central Pennsylvania

Three suspected tornadoes hit Union County in Pennsylvania, causing building damage but no reported injuries. The National Weather Service will determine if the storms were tornadoes after on-site visits. The storms formed rapidly, with the first twister reported in Lewis Twp. causing extensive damage to a barn and roofs. The most serious tornado hit a fireworks store, damaging the building and several vehicles. A third tornado hit the Penn Valley Campground area. Tornado warnings were issued for nearby areas, but no damage was reported. Conditions are expected to be favorable for strong storms again on Monday.
