China sanctions US think tank and library over Taiwanese President's visit.

China has imposed sanctions on the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library and the Hudson Institute, a Washington-based think tank, in response to a meeting between House Speaker Kevin McCarthy and Taiwanese President Tsai Ing-wen at the Reagan Library. The sanctions bar members of the organizations from entering China and freeze any financial assets belonging to the groups. The US maintains a policy of "strategic ambiguity" regarding the China-Taiwan conflict, and the "One China" policy acknowledges Beijing's claim to Taiwan but does not endorse it.
