Virginia Democratic Rep. Jennifer Wexton Discloses Parkinson's Diagnosis

Democratic Rep. Jennifer Wexton of Virginia has been diagnosed with Parkinson's disease, but she plans to continue her work in Congress. Wexton hopes to be a voice for those coping with the disease and to fight in Congress to devote greater resources toward the search for a cure. Parkinson’s disease is a brain disorder that causes unintended or uncontrollable movements, such as shaking, stiffness, and difficulty with balance and coordination.
