Rogan offered to donate $100,000 to a charity of Hotez's choice if he would debate environmental lawyer Robert F. Kennedy Jr. on his show. Billionaires Elon Musk and Bill Ackman jumped into the exchange, with investor Mark Cuban coming to Hotez's defense. Hotez stated that he would appear on Rogan's podcast but will not go toe-to-toe with Kennedy in a debate.
