According to a Reuters/Ipsos poll, about half of Americans are interested in getting an updated COVID-19 vaccine, indicating a higher willingness for booster shots compared to a year ago. The poll showed that nearly 30% of respondents were very interested in getting the vaccine, while another 24% were somewhat interested. However, around 30% of respondents were not interested at all. U.S. public health officials have recommended updated vaccines from Pfizer/BioNTech and Moderna to target the Omicron variant. The poll also revealed that overall concern about the virus has decreased, with 54% of respondents expressing personal concern, down from 77% three years ago.
