McDonald's-Scavenging Golden Retriever Finds Forever Home

Natalie, a golden retriever found scavenging for scraps at a McDonald's in Florida, has been rescued and found a loving forever home with the Belanger family. Despite health issues, including testing positive for heartworms, Natalie is receiving treatment and enjoying life with her new family, who fell in love with her immediately. The Golden Retriever Rescue of Southwest Florida facilitated Natalie's rescue and expressed gratitude to the Belangers for their understanding that rescue dogs may not always come perfectly healthy or behaved.
