US Smoking Rates Hit 60-Year Low, But Tobacco Use Remains High: CDC

Smoking rates in the US have reached their lowest level since 1965, with just 11.5% of Americans aged 18 and over smoking tobacco cigarettes. However, around 18.7% of US adults currently use any tobacco product, with e-cigarette use growing as cigarette use declines. Usage is highest among men, those under 65, and those with lower incomes or education levels.
