Michelin 2024: NYC and D.C.'s Star-Studded Culinary Scene

The Michelin Guide has announced its 2024 star ratings for Washington D.C., with new one-star awards going to Mita and Omakase @ Barracks Row, and a Green Star for sustainability awarded to Oyster Oyster. The guide also includes over 25 Bib Gourmand winners, highlighting high-quality, good-value restaurants. Notably, Pineapple & Pearls was demoted from two stars to one, while Virginia's Inn at Little Washington remains the only three-star restaurant in the region. Michelin is expanding its coverage in the U.S., with plans to recognize talent beyond major cities.
