Avelo Airlines Expands Northeast Routes with New Nonstop Flights

Avelo Airlines will introduce nonstop flights between the Frederick Douglass Greater Rochester International Airport and the Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport in South Carolina, with service operating on Thursdays and Sundays starting May 9. Introductory one-way fares will begin at $62, aiming to connect travelers from Upstate New York to Upstate South Carolina. Monroe County Executive Adam Bello expressed excitement for the new service, highlighting the potential for increased partnerships and travel opportunities between the two communities. Additionally, Avelo Airlines will expand its existing service to the Raleigh-Durham International Airport from twice-weekly to four flights per week.
