Virgin Galactic successfully launched its first private customer flight, carrying a former British Olympian and a mother-daughter duo from the Caribbean. The flight, which gave passengers a few minutes of weightlessness, marks a significant milestone for Virgin Galactic, allowing them to start offering monthly rides and enter the space tourism business alongside Blue Origin and SpaceX. Ticket prices have increased from $200,000 to $450,000. The flight also made history with women outnumbering men on board, and about 800 people are currently on Virgin Galactic's waiting list.
