US Company Executive Blocked from Leaving Mainland China by Beijing

Chinese authorities have prevented a senior executive at American risk advisory firm Kroll, Michael Chan, from leaving mainland China. Chan, a Hong Kong passport holder, is reportedly assisting in an investigation dating back several years, although neither he nor Kroll are the subjects of the inquiry.
