From Homelessness to Riches: Woman Wins $5 Million Lottery

Lucia Forseth, who was homeless six years ago, won $5 million from a Scratchers ticket she bought at a Walmart Supercenter in Pittsburg, California. Forseth plans to buy a house with her winnings and invest the rest of the money. She said, "Being homeless just six years ago, I never thought it would happen to someone like me." The California Lottery's sole mission is to raise additional funding for public education.
