Essentia Health and Marshfield Clinic Health System Announce Merger

Essentia Health and Marshfield Clinic Health System have agreed to merge and form a new integrated regional health system serving rural communities. The merger, pending regulatory approval, is expected to be finalized by the end of the year. The new system will bring together a network of 3,800 providers and 150 sites of care, including 25 hospitals, with the aim of enhancing patient care and services, expanding access to care, and navigating current and future challenges in rural healthcare.
