Ascension Seton to invest $280M in Dell Seton Medical Center expansion.

Ascension Seton is investing $280 million to expand and revamp the Dell Seton Medical Center in Austin, adding 150 beds and over 160,000 square feet to the facility. The expansion will include six new operating rooms, an inpatient rehabilitation gym, ICU expansion, and clinical outpatient spaces, among other features. The upgrade is designed to meet the needs of the growing Austin population and will begin construction this summer, with the expanded center set to open in 2025.
