Quaker Oats has issued a recall for over two dozen types of granola bars and cereals due to a potential salmonella contamination risk. The affected products have been sold in the United States, Puerto Rico, Guam, and Saipan. No illnesses have been reported so far, but consumers are advised to discard the affected products and contact Quaker Oats for a refund. Salmonella can cause symptoms such as fever, diarrhea, nausea, and in rare cases, death.
