Philadelphia Water Department Issues Boil Water Advisory for West Philadelphia

The Philadelphia Water Department has issued a boil water advisory for parts of upper West Philadelphia affecting around 18,000 customer accounts due to a pumping station failure causing a loss of pressure in the system. Customers in the impacted area should boil water before using it for drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth, washing dishes, and preparing formula.
