Multiple Boil Water Notices Issued Across Hillsborough County and Panama City Beach

A precautionary boil water notice has been issued for the south-central portion of Hillsborough County, including Riverview and Sun City Center, affecting approximately 95,000 people, after water pressure dropped below acceptable levels. Residents are advised to boil water for at least one minute before drinking or cooking with it, and to let the water run clear before washing clothes and getting rid of ice from automatic ice makers. The notice will remain in effect until officials test the water for bacteria and determine it is safe.
