Listeria Contamination Prompts Multiple Lettuce and Salad Kit Recalls

Revolution Farms, a farm in Michigan, is voluntarily recalling several prepackaged lettuce products that may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes. The products were sold at several retailers in Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Kentucky, and Wisconsin. Meijer, a supplier of Revolution Farms, issued a separate voluntary recall of select premade salads. Listeria can cause serious infections, especially in young children, elderly people, and individuals with weakened immune systems. Consumers who have purchased the recalled products should discard them or return them to their place of purchase for a full refund.
