Newsweek's global roundup of the top 250 hospitals worldwide ranks the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota as number one, with the Cleveland Clinic in Ohio at number two. New York hospitals, including Mount Sinai, New York Presbyterian, and NYU-Langone, were notably absent from the top 10, with Mount Sinai ranking highest at number 20. The United States dominated the rankings, with four of the top five hospitals located in the country. The Mayo Clinic, Cleveland Clinic, Johns Hopkins, and Massachusetts General Hospital were among the top five, with the only non-American hospital in the top five being Toronto General in Canada.
