Costco is now offering its U.S. members access to weight loss prescriptions through a partnership with Sesame, a direct-to-consumer healthcare marketplace, for as low as $179 per subscription period. The program includes three months of clinical consultation, the ability to select a clinician, live video consultations, messaging with the clinician, a nutritional guide, and individualized treatment programs. Non-members can also access the subscription for $195 per period. This initiative comes as a response to customer interest in weight loss, and is part of Costco's broader partnership with Sesame to offer outpatient medical care.
