The Oregonian's Lizzy Acker tried McDonald's new Double Big Mac and Strawberry and Crème Pie, finding the Double Big Mac to be too large and oddly floppy, with dry and oozing sauce, while the Strawberry and Crème Pie was deemed tasty with a flaky crust and sweet, creamy filling. Acker, who is not a McDonald's hater, shared her experience and concluded that while she probably wouldn't get the pie again over a hot fudge sundae, she might take a bite if someone in her car purchased it.
